At Wringford Down we design your wedding to your specification. We are very flexible and will do all that we can to ensure that you have a perfect day in every way.
Most couples would
like the sole use of the hotel for their wedding. For this there is a charge of £700. This gives you the exclusive use (from 12am
on the day of the wedding to 10 am the following day) of all the public areas
in the hotel, the grounds and swimming pool, plus the Bridal Suite for 1 nights
stay, including breakfast. The days
before and after your wedding may also be reserved for your exclusive use at a
cost of only £300 per day. Rooms can be
booked either by, or for, your guests at 10% off our current rates.
The Bridal suite
is available from 11am on the day of the Wedding to enable the bride to dress
and prepare in peace, ready for the festivities to follow. Please note that other bedrooms will be made
available as they are cleaned & may not be available until 2pm. For this reason it is a good idea for guests
travelling any distance to arrive the day before the wedding.
The upstairs
lounge in the hotel is licensed for a civil wedding ceremony of up to 60 people, the downstairs Courtyard is licensed for up to 100
people.
Once you have
decided upon a date you need to book the registrar, Mrs K Arundel, Saltash
01752 842624. There needs to be a
minimum of 2 weeks between booking the ceremony with the registrar, and the
date it is to take place.
Once a date and
time have been confirmed with the registrar and Wringford Down you will be able
to start planning the actual Wedding.
We can help as little,
or as much as you would like us too.
Many couples choose to arrange and book their own photographer, flowers
and Wedding Cake, but we can arrange these if you are too busy, or if you just
want to hand over entirely. We can also
arrange entertainment, or a disco, balloon decorations or almost anything else
you would like. You will need to arrange
your own Wedding clothes and those of your attendants.
At all times we will work with you over the 3 month period before the wedding to ensure that all details are in place, down to the colour of your napkins!

The Wedding
Breakfast
This can be either
a formal sit down meal, or a buffet, depending on the number of people and your
budget. A formal meal will usually have
a “Top Table” with the wedding party seated at it. A “Top Table” can also be arranged for a more
informal buffet. Food can be served and
consumed in either the Restaurant area or the Courtyard, or both, depending on
numbers and your preferred seating arrangement.
